Port Codes
A UN/LOCODE is two country letters plus three location characters; the last three separate a city's port from its airport — Shanghai port is CNSHG, CNSHA is Hongqiao Airport.
Common ports
Five-character codes, port names in English or Chinese, and state codes (e.g. SH, GD) all work; case and hyphens are handled automatically (cn-shg equals CNSHG). Codes must be exact — no "did you mean" guessing, because a wrong letter on a document costs far more than a failed search.

For IATA three-letter codes (PVG Shanghai Pudong, SZX Shenzhen Bao'an, HKG Hong Kong) rather than UN/LOCODE five-character codes, use the Airport Codes page — this page only covers UN/LOCODE. Airport Codes →
